This branch also includes enterprises that convert raw materials into new products by hand or by incorporation, as well as those that process and sell raw materials in the same place, e.g. including the assembly of product components and the recovery of waste.
It is often not easy to draw the line between what is still in the manufacturing industry and what belongs to other sectors of the economy, but as a general rule, the manufacturing activity produces a new product, transforms existing materials, so the result is always a new product.
